- You need 100 gms of Gram flour.
- It's As per taste of Salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of alkaline salt(papadkhar).
- Prepare 1 tsp of Ajwain seeds.
- It's 2 tsp of hot oil.
- It's 1/2 of galss of water.
- You need Pinch of asafoetida powder.

- First take gram flour and mix it with salt,ajwain seeds,alkaline salt,hot oil and asafoetida powder..
- Mix it well there should be no lumps in the mixture..
- Now add water gradually.And make a dough of medium consistency..
- Give it rest for 5 to 8 mins.Now make gathiya out of dough with help of machine(jaro).Deep fry the gathiya for 1 min..
- Gathiya are ready to serve you can have it with chillies,tea,and mango salad..
