Ingredients of Porridge beans and plantain
- It's Half of mudu of beans.
- You need 2 of ripe plantain.
- You need of Fresh peper.
- It's of Onion.
- It's of Crayfish.
- You need of Palm oil.
- Prepare of Salt.
- Prepare cube of Maggi.
This delicious meal is usually made with unripe plantain, however, you can use a combination of ripe and unripe plantain, most people do this in other to achieve a faint sugary taste. When the beans porridge is soft, add the onions, crayfish (if using it), pepper and seasoning. As a child, I loved beans like kilode. Beans featured in our menu once a week.
Porridge beans and plantain instructions
- Pick diets from beans and set aside.
- Wash, peel and cut plantain to your required sizes.
- Blend crayfish, pepper and onion,vset side.
- Put you beans in a pot and add enough water to cook it well till it softens.
- Add plantain, pepper, crayfish, salt, maggi, palm oil.
- Allow to cook till you are satisfied.
- Your food is ready.
